Slackline Festival Wellington – SlackFest 2015 – Is starting today

Hi Slackline Folks from Wellington and all New Zealand, it’s been a over a year, but the slackline festival New Zealand is going to be this weekend. It going to be great, so better be there. Slacklineshop NZ will give you the chance to test some of the greatest piece of slackline gear for tricklining and longling we have in stock! We will setup the linegrip, lineLock and Pittpull for Longlining. And also will have the XL ratchet in action. Please see Jason, Rory or Brad for some more information at the festival area.

The Slackline Festival (Slackfest 2015) will be on the Catchpool Valley Campsite (-41.35195763N,174.9230983W) just north of Wellington.

Here some more information:

Hosted by Wellington Slackline Collective, it will be held the weekend of Friday 20th February – Sunday 22nd February (If rainchecked, will be Friday 27th Feb – Sunday 1st March), at Catch Pool Valley Campsite.

There is space for multiple lines of varying lengths, and plenty of forest to explore for some epic sites.

Friday and Saturday nights will be camping, there is a $10/night camping fee which will be paid directly to DOC. Bring your tent, tarp or crash outside under the stars.
Facilities at the campsite include:
– Water (drinking)
– Toilets
– Barbecue
– HOT Showers
There will be a communal BBQ Saturday night so bring something for the grill.

When the sun goes down the poi light up, so bring your balls and chains and some fuel.

The lines will be set, poi out and music up so whatever your jam is come and chill!

BYO tent, slackline, fire poi, food, alcohol, and bag of tricks
